Matchups... Manga vs Real World... fight!

hi guys... its not that i duwan to post..
but has been adjusting back to studying lately,
so gotta find the free time to do these kinda stuff .. haha
'nuff said,
i alr showed jase one pic b4, but now i'm back with more...

and now i reveal the matchups

round one, kyoto tower: airgear vs real world














i'd say... this is really 65% similarity, only different angle taken... and the kyoto tower bottom observatory in airgear is much larger than the real world's...

next up, round two, a combination attack on kyoto: airgear vs real world



















love stone: 85% similarity, only slight angle tilt
kiyomizu-dera: 45%, if only the pic was landscape
wall-riding: 30%, u can ask veng... we meet these walls quite often really, hehe...

now onwards to round 3!!
shotengai, osaka: airgear vs real world










now, now, you're probably saying by now, that this aint the same! ikki in airgear went to kyoto. that pic in the right is osaka. but it does bear like 30% similarity right?? guess i'm pushing it...

next up, round 4: dotomburi, osaka: gantz vs real world














ok, this one very close, hehe...
70% for glico man (cos angle not exactly same)
85% for fugu (angle same but letterings are different)

ok, by now u can probably spot the pic on the right in the panels on the left. this one should be quite accurate, but it seems in gantz there's the word "cool" on top? when we reach there winter, its not cool anymore?? haha

ok, this is by far probably the best pic of the bunch, for several reasons,
1. exactly same angle, just different distance ( the one in ippo probably need you hovering above ground)
2. manage to frame mr zen inside
3. and the staircase also looks the same, authentic
if jase compare all the previous pics, maybe he'll also vote this one as best? haha...

I met up with my contact across the road from the mall that morning, and after smoking a quarter of a dozen cigs, (I already quit) we settled the brunch nicely with iced coffee,tea and H20. During which he passed me the goods, all 6 of them. It was a black market deal (in untraceable, but highly valued printings) in broad daylight, and the waiter didn't even bat an eye, well, possibly because he serves food and drinks and that's all he's concerned with. It was all unassuming that cloudy morning, and we all had something to accomplish, whether that day or the remaining days we had.

We then parted to complete our side missions- he had favour for bombing hotels and i never did attune to that queer, if not disturbing, habit of his. I had to get rid of 'black matter', regardless of the cost this time. I had put it off long enough, and time itself was catching up to me. Operative 3 arrived late, but i assume the plan was still in place.

I found them in the darkest corners the building, where the line between degenerate and innocence were blurred beyond recognition, and it would just continue on over a discussion, just like sweet caramel topped with whip cream.

They say the Italians have the Mafia and the Church, the Jews have tradition, and i agree that each his own to hold on to. sometimes we do not see what is there and see what is not there. but everyone is connected to each, and each, to One. If only we had those eyes, then it wouldn't even be a debate. For those without, friendship is the closest substitute we understand. That, we should not be without..


To translate it simply,

Me and Caleb met at the Mamak for Roti Sardines on wednesday morning of all days, before Veng would meet us later- caleb passes me this:

So yeah then we went off after we finished and Caleb went on his 'bombing run' at the hotel toilet.. and i went to cut my hair, which i have put off for some time already.. and no i didn't take a picture of the girl who washed my hair.. that would be wrong. and i would tell you if i did *nods*

So then Veng a.k.a the Op3 came at around 11-12, and when i was done i went to the darkest corner (arcade) where light does not pass through- and found em chopping people up with swords, nun-chucks and ninja blades. then we had a bit of 1-2 (actually more like Caleb, my Raven was just dismal.) We caught the Vory Vorzakonye a little past 3- instigated more people to challenge Klabs streak- and it took a while. I'll be back for the challenge. (maybe not with raven). then we caught the movie.

In between sessions, we went for:

In any case, we finished off the day talking about many things, and catching up- girlfriends, soon to be girlfriends, and those yet without- to politics and a hint of religion, with Caleb sending subliminal messages etc. Veng with his observant eyes and mind, and me, well, with everything in between? It was a nice dinner, with extra servings of chips and things hopefully learnt- well wishes afterwards, we parted ways to continue on.

Not before waiting for Caleb for a while though, which, surprisingly to us, eluded our sight- so yeah we went back a little later than K.
